What kind of work can I submit?
You can submit anything from resumes to case studies, to reports and presentations, screen surveys, research plans, and anything in between. I will look over any user research-related work and give you direct and straightforward feedback on how to improve. Honestly, throw anything at me, there is absolutely nothing I haven’t seen. And, if I haven’t ever seen it, you get the feedback for free!
How long is an hour of feedback? What kind of feedback will that give me?
I’ve been giving feedback for a looooong time so I am really efficient and effective with it while still giving you detailed an actionable feedback. Of course, it all depends on the length of what you are submitting — there is a huge difference between a screener survey and a 30-page research report — and how much feedback you need on the work.
Here are some examples of what an hour of feedback might look like:
An in-depth research report or presentation, which would get you direct comments on the report and a Loom video response from me
A research project planning package, such as review of a research plan, screener survey, interview/usability guide, where you would get direct comments and a Loom video if necessary
Two case studies (depending on length), where you would receive direct comments and a Loom video
A resume plus a case study, where you would receive direct comments and a Loom video
A 30-45 minute interview you want feedback on (such as a 1x1 interview or usability test), where you would receive a doc of comments
As I get to know you, my feedback will get faster (so more bang for your buck over time) and I will always let you know when we are half way through our hours for the month!
